CORPORATE

Working with a myriad of companies (small, medium and large manufacturing and services) has helped Neeta develop a keen insight into their HR requirements. Her aim has been to optimise human resource by way of leadership excellence, employee engagement, the management of peoples happiness through social and emotional intelligence, psychoeducation, principles of positive psychology, health, lifestyle and wellbeing modules, stress management and relaxation techniques.

She helps analyse and evaluate behaviour through development of psychological tools and utilization of observational studies and interviewing techniques.  Based on the needs analysis, she has developed original content and design as well as delivered and implemented customised seminars, workshops, programs and interventions.

She also holds a certification in cross cultural training, preparing and assisting individuals and groups to live, work and integrate in cultures other than their own. She has had the honour of training top and middle management professionals from reputed international companies.

Past projects include:

  • Lifestyle prescription for employees of a Big Five consultancy as early as in the late 90s

  • On-the-floor observations and audits to manage workflow and ergonomic efficiency at an international BPO

  • Project undertaken to address interpersonal conflict for middle management of a 4-star hotel

  • Studying the relationship between creativity and stress for top level management of the Postal Staff College

  • Recognizing, profiling and training potential trainers for middle management of an insurance company

  • Training in Basic Counselling Skills to an HR department of a large multinational BPO

  • Intercultural awareness and sensitivity training for top personnel in international companies

  • Assessment Centre analysis for a CXO position of one of India’s largest and respected IT firms

       TEACHING + EDUCATION

TEACHING AND EDUCATION:

Neeta has been associated with 8 educational institutes – UK College; 2 international schools; 1 undergraduate business school; 3 postgraduate business schools and 1 postgraduate media school. The role included both teaching and counselling. Approved as CPCAB Level 2 Tutor. Trained and certified in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in psychology while teaching the course at an international school.  This strengthened her understanding of psychology and enhanced her ability to use it in an interdisciplinary, multi-dimensional way to approach her clinical practice and development of psychological interventions and training programs. At the FLAME and Symbiosis institutes, she offered numerous programs aimed towards student wellbeing, academic and corporate brilliance.

As a part time teacher at the IB school, her psychology students received an average of 6 which was one whole point more than world average in their final examinations, the maximum being 7.

In all the educational institutes she has been associated with, her curriculum includes prescribing preventive lifestyle methods and psychological reserve training to overcome stress, attain leadership excellence and build foundations in good living practices.

Neeta runs regular programs for school and college students and teachers.

She is working towards a project to offer a "teachers anonymous" platform to assist in dealing with stress involved in academia.

COUNSELLING

Neeta has over 30 years of counselling experience in many forms: individual, group, in private practice and on behalf of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service providers, educational institutes and corporate clients. Her therapy techniques have included a varied approach with an emphasis on brief therapy for EAP clients and an eclectic approach for private practice clients (Humanistic, Psychodynamic, CBT). She has trained in alternate medicine techniques of Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, mindfulness, Tai Chi Chuan.

                       EAP SERVICES

Neeta was empanelled with 3 international EAPs to provide counselling support, orientation programs and talks/workshops on health, lifestyle and wellbeing issues offered to individuals and groups. She was sought-after as the most trusted senior resource for Crisis Management and Critical Incidents like suicide and highly distressed calls and requirements by corporate clients.

                        HEALTHCARE

Neeta has been involved in ground breaking interventions in preventive health and wellbeing measures with her own clinics as part of Out-Patient Departments of two of India's top hospitals: Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre and The Apollo Clinic (part of the Apollo chain of hospitals). These were offered to individuals who came in as patients and groups: social groups, NGOs, corporate entities, induction plans, executive health check-ups. She worked with a team of doctors, alternate medicine practitioners and dieticians. The Stress Clinic run in Escorts carried out a research to study the effect of relaxation techniques on patients prior to their heart surgeries.

                  MEDIA

Neeta was considered the pioneer in fitness, health lifestyle and wellbeing in India in the late 90's. She anchored a segment on India's first daily breakfast show: Good Morning India, broadcast on national television and produced by India's top news channel. The seven-year role included researching, scripting and presenting the segment on topics related to aerobics, fitness, health, lifestyle and wellbeing. It also involved interviewing forefront medical and health professionals in the country. Watch her here.

Neeta simultaneously developed original content for websites like Drndtv.comActivekarma.comIndiatodayplus.com and indya.com. She also had her own weekend column in the national newspaper The Times of India, writing over 100 original articles on emotional, mental, physical health and wellbeing topics and interpersonal issues.
